About

OVER 30 YEARS OF HISTORY & AN ENDLESS AMOUNT OF MEMORIES

The Barn on Aberdeen Farm is built with a variety of historic components and reclaimed materials from the nearby area. Many of the doors in The Barn are sourced from European castles dating back to the 19th century. The heart pine used in the flooring throughout The Barn was reclaimed from an early 1900s barn in the area, with the walnut cabinetry recycled from trees downed on Aberdeen Farm after Hurricane Isabel in 2003.

With two miles of private waterfront along the James & Pagan Rivers and 1,000 acres of open fields, timberland, and marsh, you’ll have a hard time finding another venue with so much to offer. Aberdeen Farm boasts 10 miles of hiking trails through a variety of wooded terrain, turning your morning walk into a morning adventure. With our executive chef on hand, we utilize our own gardens and game for many of the meals prepared on site.

Aberdeen Farm is equipped with its own 6000 foot airstrip. Step off a plane and into a corporate retreat, or wave goodbye to your guests as you fly away to your honeymoon destination.

Across the water from Jamestown, Americans first settled Aberdeen Farm in the early 1700s. You can find original artifacts from these settlements at The Barn today!

Jamestown came to Aberdeen Farm and conducted an archeological dig, taking many artifacts to the settlement for research and display.
